DAYBRAIN is run by its founder and reachable at hello@daybrain.app. This page explains what we collect when you use daybrain.app and why. The short version: your email so we can send you the episode you asked for, and basic usage signals so we can see whether the product works. No cookies, no ad trackers, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist or create an episode. We use it to deliver your episode and to let you know when DAYBRAIN opens up.
• The topic and angles you enter, which we need to make your episode. They are processed by artificial intelligence services to research the topic and generate the audio.
• Basic usage events: page views, steps of the create flow, and how far into an episode you listen. These include your browser language, timezone, device type, the page that linked you here, and a shortened form of your IP address. We use them only to understand which parts of the product work.
• Email delivery signals: whether an email we sent was delivered, opened, or clicked, provided by our email delivery service.

AI-generated audio

Every DAYBRAIN episode is created with artificial intelligence: the research, the script, the cover art, and the voices. The voices are synthetic and do not belong to real people. AI can get things wrong, so treat episodes as a starting point for your curiosity rather than verified fact.

No cookies

The site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Who processes the data

Data is handled by a small set of service providers covering hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, and AI generation. The AI services receive only your topic and angles, never your email address. A full list of providers is available on request at hello@daybrain.app.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you leave the waitlist. Every email we send has a one-click "Leave the waitlist" link that removes it immediately. Usage events are kept only as long as they are useful for improving the product.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@daybrain.app and we will sort it out promptly. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
